كيوتا فتى يتيم، ويعيش في شوارع شيبويا، ومع الوقت يتعرف كيوتا على عالم رائع من الوحوش بعد أن أخذه الوحش المحارب (كوماتيتسو) إلى عالمهم، يتدربان معًا وتتوطد العلاقة بينهما ليُشكّلا عائلة من أب وابن، ولكن مع وجود تهديدات خطيرة لعالم الإنسان وعالم الوحوش، تتعرض علاقتهما وتدريبهما معًا لاختبار عسير.
Kyuta, a boy living in Shibuya, and Kumatetsu, a lonesome beast from Jutengai, an imaginary world. One day, Kyuta forays into the imaginary world and, as he's looking for his way back, meets Kumatetsu who becomes his spirit guide. That encounter leads them to many adventures.
