عائلة "فاندرهوفن" هي عائلة عادية، باستثناء اللعنة التي حوّلت "أليكس"، الزوج والأب المحب، إلى صخر. من أجل إنقاذه، يجب على زوجته وولديه خوض مغامرات مثيرة لإعادة الآثار القديمة التي سرقها أحد أسلافهم.
