تتحدث القصة عن وجود مخلوقات تعرف بالجنيات والتي تمنح مستضيفها قوة خارقة، تظهر جراحة تمكن البشر من أن يكونوا مستضيفين لتلك الجنيات وعندها يظهر في الحرب جنود يستخدمون قوى الجنيات يدعون بـ “جنود الجنيات”، وبعد انتهاء الحرب وفقدان هؤلاء الجنود لسبب وجودهم يذهب كل منهم في طريقة سعيًا خلف العدالة التي يطمح لها، فمنهم من انضم إلى الحكومة ومنهم من انضم إلى المافيا ومنهم من أصبح إرهابيًا لأجل الإنتقام.
