Overview
Tarzán was a half-hour syndicated series that aired 1991–1994. In this version of the show, Tarzan was portrayed as a blond environmentalist, with Jane turned into a French ecologist. Ron Ely, famous for playing Tarzan in the original series, played a character named Gorden Shaw in the first season episode “Tarzan the Hunted”.
Plot
The legendary "Ape Man" and his scientist friends protect the jungle from environmental threats, in this updated version of the classic story.

Tarzan and the Poisoned Waters
Tarzan discovers his animal friends are sick or dying and with Jane's help they learn the river suddenly contains mercury. Tarzan heads upstream, putting his life in peril after encountering rogue miners.
