تدور القصة عن بحار إسمه باباي يقوم بالمغامرات برفقة زوجته زيتونة، وهو رجل قوي تزداد قوته عندما يأكل السبانخ وتساعده زوجته أيضًا. عدو باباي اللدود والدائم هو بلوتو الضخم وعندما يتشاجر مع أحد فإنه لا يستغني عن السبانخ لأنها تزيده قوة بينما زوجة باباي دائمة الصراخ عندما يختطفها أحد وصوتها عالي جداً وهي لا تتعرض للاختطاف إلا من بلوتو.

Popeye The Carpenter

Olive is trying to hang a picture, but knocks a hole in the wall. She hollers for Popeye to come and help, but Bluto tags along. Soon, the whole house is destroyed. Popeye rebuilds the house in the end, but when he tries to hang the picture again, the house comes crumbling down.
