Plot
During the occupation of Izmir by Greeks, a Turkish soldier starts to work for the enemy. But he is not really on the side of the enemy. He must keep this secret at the cost of losing his family.

Cevdet is betrayed by his blood brother, Tevfik. Cevdet is a major in Thessaloniki towards the end of the Balkan War. A brave soldier for the motherland, a love lover for his wife Azize; his children Ali Kemal, a compassionate father to Yildiz and Hilal. When Cevdet and Tevfik battle on the front, everything upset with an event. Cevdet is forced to break from his family. Tevfik helps Azize, who had to migrate from Thessaloniki to Izmir.
