Cevdet is betrayed by his blood brother, Tevfik. Cevdet is a major in Thessaloniki towards the end of the Balkan War. A brave soldier for the motherland, a love lover for his wife Azize; his children Ali Kemal, a compassionate father to Yildiz and Hilal.
