طرزان شاب نشأ وسط عائلة من الغوريلات عندما جنحت مركب والدي الرضيع طرزان وغرقت، وتمكن والداه من النجاة بعد توجههم إلى سواحل القارة الإفريقية لبدء حياة جديدة وسط بقية مخلوقات الغابة ومنها الغوريلات التي تتخذ الغابة مأوى لها.
